When using the antenna induction test method, the relative value of the frequency meter can only be used as a reference.
4. Maintenance
(1) Storage frequency meter
If you want to store the hand-held frequency meter for a long time, remove the battery inside the frequency meter before storing it. Release the battery cover cord to remove the battery.
(2) Charge the battery
When used for the first time, the built-in rechargeable Ni-MH rechargeable battery in the hand-held frequency meter may have insufficient power. Therefore, charge it before use. Insert the USB interface power adapter to charge the frequency meter. Note that this hand-held frequency meter does not have the function of connecting data with the PC, so it cannot be connected to the USB port of the PC. This USB port is only for charging and connecting to the COM port of the computer through the adapter.
When inserting the power adapter. The red LED in the upper right corner of the display is on, indicating that it is charging. The battery is fully charged and the green light is on.
Hand-held frequency meter can use the hand-held frequency meter's built-in battery to charge at the same time.
The battery indicator in the upper right corner of the handheld frequency meter screen indicates the usage of the built-in battery at that time. When the indicator flashes, it indicates that the battery is low. Please charge or replace the battery as soon as possible.
(3) Extend battery working time
When the auto-off function of the hand-held frequency meter is set to [ON], the frequency meter will automatically turn off to save power. If no button is pressed within 5 minutes, the frequency meter will automatically turn off. The frequency meter uses 3 AAANi-MH batteries for power supply. The frequency meter has a built-in Ni-MH battery charging circuit, which can effectively charge and manage the Ni-MH battery. In emergency situations, large-capacity alkaline batteries can also be used. However, when using alkaline batteries, do not attempt to charge alkaline batteries.
(4) Calibration
Enter the known standard signal, open the battery cover, remove the battery pack, use the charger to power the frequency meter, adjust the frequency reference, and make the displayed value equal to the standard signal.
